Petsense

BUSINESS TYPE: pet supplies + grooming

location: Brentwood, tennessee

SERVICES RENDERED: Brand + Website duo

Petsense needed a redesign for their outdated, non-functioning website. Using their existing brand identity as the foundation, I crafted a clean, approachable interface that balanced functionality with personality—ultimately reflecting the brand’s passion for pets through lively design treatments.

The Challenge

Hannah already had a logo for her business, but came to me without a fully-fleshed out branded identity in place. She needed a cohesive visual direction that could be applied to her website — one that emulated her rich, storytelling photography style. Her site needed to feel high-end yet grounded, artistic but not overly polished, and most importantly: like her.

BRAND PATTERN

My Approach

I began the project by conducting a thorough audit of Petsense’s original website to identify areas in need of UX/UI improvements, including navigation and content layout. Seamless navigation became a top priority, ensuring it was easy for pet parents to browse products, find services, and locate stores—all while preserving the playful spirit of the website.

the results

The redesigned website improved usability, highlighted key offerings, and created a cohesive, brand-aligned experience, resulting in a site that both delights visitors and supports Petsense’s business goals.
