Founded in 2019, Tikka n’ Curry offers a vibrant take on Indian cuisine in a fast-casual setting. They sought a cohesive visual identity and online presence that reflected the energy and authenticity of their dishes, inviting diners into a fun, memorable culinary experience.

The Challenge
As a family-owned business, Tikka n’ Curry wanted branding that felt approachable and playful, yet polished enough to stand out in a competitive market—all while honoring and celebrating their ethnic cultural background. The challenge was translating this into a cohesive brand system and digital experience that would appeal to first-time visitors and convert them into loyal customers.
Additionally, the client requested a visual representation of a flame be incorporated — a nod to the authentic cooking surface, called a Tava, which they use to prepare meals.

BRAND PATTERN


My Approach
All of the creative materials are seasoned with playful patterns and textures. Even the typefaces are casual and organic in nature. I paired these elements with distressed blocks of color to evoke a scratch-made quality and reinforce the restaurant’s artisanal yet approachable essence.
